      And by the way, there IS going to be a movie. It is scheduled to come out on April 7, 2017. This site - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2543472/ - has lots of news as well as pictures of the characters.

      I'm not sure you want me to visit. I'm just a reading teacher in Wisconsin who put a bunch of pictures on a website. I'm not the author. I'm sure she would be a much better visitor than me. :-)

      Clearly Mr. W you are not "just a reading teacher" in Wisconsin! You are one of "those teachers" that every parent wants their child to have at least once during their education and every student hopes to find in the front of the classroom on their first day of school.

But that is the latest information I could find, and it is over a year old.

      I'm not sure what that is, but here are two guesses.

      One, it could be because you are using a mobile device like a tablet or phone and playback on some videos is restricted to only certain devices.

      My other guess is that, if you are at school, the school has a restriction on YouTube videos (and probably some other stuff) to regulate what students can and can't view. That's good when it blocks out stuff that's not needed for school, but it can have some unwanted side effects like not being able to see cool videos about Wonder.

      Try watching on a different computer or at home or at the library or something. It should work. (I'm listening to it right now.)

    Thank you for doing all of this work. This is my third year to read the book to my 5th graders as they exit Elementary school, but my first year to use your resources. I really appreciate the fact that you have done all this work for other teachers/ classrooms and allowed us free access! Thank you!

      Right now there's no plan for a sequel that I've heard about, but there are several companion books. Check out 365 Days of Wonder. Then get Auggie & Me which is a compilation of 3 ebooks that were released called The Julian Chapter, Pluto, and Shingaling.

    Hi!
    I am an elementary librarian who will be reading Wonder with the 4th grade in rotation. I certainly appreciate all of the links that you compiled to better describe the details mentioned in the book. With your song and lyrics, did you do a mini poetry lesson or just paired the songs to a moment in the book? (I read the book a couple of years ago so I can't remember if Auggie made a reference to these songs.)

    This book is life altering, the 365 days of Wonder has enhanced our environment, my students have heard from the author words that I have uttered in encouragement and problem solving so frequently that they are wondering if I am related to the author. Thank you to everyone for embracing and contributing to this project.
